Advertising policy

Revenue must not weaken the directory.

Display advertising is currently inactive. This policy defines the controls that must be in place before any ad is shown.

01

Advertising is off by default

The site does not currently render display ads. Ad code requires an explicit production feature flag, valid account values and confirmation that the required consent system is ready.

02

Clear labels and spacing

Future ad units will be labelled as advertising, separated from navigation and editorial actions, and sized to avoid layout shifts. Ads will never imitate provider listings or download buttons.

03

Protected user journeys

No ads will appear inside search controls, beside primary enrolment actions, in privacy or legal pages, in correction and contact flows, or where a placement could cause an accidental click.

04

Content remains primary

Publisher content must remain the reason for each page. We will not add thin pages for ad inventory, place more promotions than editorial material, or reward a provider with better organic treatment.

05

Consent and regional controls

Before personalised ads are enabled where required, FindLanguageCourses will use a Google-certified consent management platform and apply the appropriate regional privacy signals and choices.

06

Affiliate status

There are no active affiliate partners or commission-bearing provider links. Any future affiliate relationship will be disclosed near the relevant link and in the commercial relationship register.
