Ask for an entry assessment and the recommended preparation time. A short strategy course cannot replace missing general-language foundations.

Confirm whether timed practice, marked writing, speaking feedback and current test formats are included.
04Separate teaching from registration+
Verify whether the provider is also an authorised test venue and whether examination registration and fees are separate.
05Work backwards from the deadline+
Allow time for preparation, booking availability, results and a possible retake. Never rely on a course as a score guarantee.
